It’s a Good Thing I Love Salads

Something that has inspired me in the past is watching YouTube videos of people on raw food diets. Seeing what they eat in a day, and seeing doctors and scientists talk about the benefits of fruits and vegetables usually inspires me to take action. So…this is what I am doing. It’s kind of a purposeful way of brainwashing myself to be better ๐Ÿ˜‹

I drank a lot of all natural store bought fresh fruit and vegetable juice today, along with other things. Now I’m having a salad, it is chopped up romaine, spinach, nutritional yeast, ground flax seeds, and a dressing that is part homemade part vegan Caesar dressing from the store. I wish I had tomatoes, or onions, or an avocado that wasn’t far too ripe! But this is all I have at hand salad-wise and it’s actually good!

Many years ago I saw this wonderful chiropractor who took my diet into consideration and prescribed a specific salad for me. He told me to buy a huge bowl and mix these ingredients together and every day put a big handful of it into a bowl and eat it. It was, romaine, spinach, dark leafy greens, almonds, and sunflower seeds.

This is what he said my diet needed at the time. And I think I’m going to do that again! Pre-making the salad is such a convenient idea. I am all for convenience. If it’s convenient, then it’s sustainable!
