What’s Been Going On With Me

My career and work schedule is currently going through some major changes. It will be great, more security, reliability, (ehem, money), etc. Since I prefer to be my own boss, this makes things a bit interesting at times! But I am learning and becoming better in the process.

I haven’t been eating as healthfully as I usually do. Today is a Saturday and I found myself to be exhausted not only today but also on Friday night. Yes, I am working more than I have been for the past year, but it’s not like I’m out shucking hay or anything (is hay shucked? I don’t know…). I am 33 almost 34 years old and I stay pretty physically active, and there is no need for me to be utterly exhausted on Friday night and Saturday. I found inspiration today when I stumbled upon some Raw Vegan YouTube videos. I used to watch a lot of them and it always inspired me to eat more raw. I haven’t been focusing on food as much as I used to as I have found peace with food and with my body. It is so amazing, but since I no longer forcefully brainwash myself to eat healthier via YouTube videos, my diet has been kinda crummy. I’m going to start “brainwashing” myself again to consume more salad and to make raw recipes from time to time. Even when I’m not eating so healthy I eat mostly vegan, and I have a healthy smoothie almost daily, almost.

On a completely different note, have any of you tried CBD? I have had a lot of anxiety this summer and am not on anxiety medication as I was for 10 years. I have tried a couple different types of CBD, one puts me to sleep and the other doesn’t seem to do much. I also need it to help with headaches and chronic pain. My grandma informed me I need to try a higher concentration of CBD so hopefully I will get some this weekend!

This morning as I laid on my couch wondering if I would ever get energy to do anything ever again, I felt inspired by 2 YouTubers. It made me remember that at times when I ate raw (and high raw) I felt way more energized. It got me thinking that while next week starts my new work life (ie working more, and earning a lot more) I might as well plan out ways to be healthier along with the new change!
